Notice Title

ICS Accountability Mechanisms for Healthcare Inequalities

Notice Description

NHSEI is looking to develop a practical proposal(s) for accountability for health inequalities across Integrated Care Systems (ICSs). Strengthened accountability for health inequalities within ICSs has been highlighted as one of the most important levers available for effective system level action. Existing frameworks are insufficient to ensure effective investment, leadership and scale of action required to sustain a long- term shift to address health inequalities as central to core business. The development of a practical set of proposals for enhanced accountability for health inequalities across ICSs is required.
