Summary of the contracting process

The London Borough of Lambeth is currently in the planning stage of the procurement process titled "Invitation to market engagement event - Transformation of the young people's housing-related support pathway." The aim of this initiative is to redesign the housing-related support framework for young people, particularly targeting individuals who are homeless or are care leavers. Key dates include the engagement end date set for 20 September 2021, with market engagement events scheduled for 8 and 20 September 2021, taking place in London, United Kingdom. The procurement method is based on early engagement, inviting contributions from various service providers involved in support services for vulnerable young individuals.

This tender represents a significant opportunity for businesses geared towards social services and support for young people, particularly those specialising in accommodation, mental health, and community safety. A wide range of organisations, including small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), voluntary, community, and social enterprises (VCSEs), will find potential for collaboration and growth. By engaging in this transformation, businesses can contribute their expertise to develop a co-designed pathway that enhances support for the youth in Lambeth, ultimately fostering community resilience and improving outcomes for vulnerable demographics.

Notice Title

Invitation to market engagement event - Transformation of the young people's housing-related support pathway

Notice Description

Dear partner, Invitation to market engagement event - Transformation of the young people's housing-related support pathway It is an exciting time in Lambeth's Supported Housing Commissioning team, with work underway to radically transform our housing-related support pathway for young people including those who are homeless, 16/17-year-old children who are looked after, and care leavers. By April 2023, we will have commissioned a completely new, innovative, co-designed and co-produced four-stage pathway. We believe joint working between expert partner organisations is how we can truly make a difference to the lives of Lambeth young people. As such, we welcome involvement from all services working with young people whether that be accommodation-based, homelessness, Lambeth's community organisations, health, Metropolitan Police, Community Safety, domestic abuse, gang exiting or contextual harm. We want to meet with you, share our plans and get your feedback. To do this, we will be holding two market engagement events on the following dates: * Wednesday 8 September at 11am * Monday 20 September at 12pm The aim of the events will be to provide further information on the vision for Lambeth, the procurement process, and an opportunity for you to ask questions. Note these events will have identical agendas, and the anticipation is that each provider would attend a single event only. Register for an event by using the hyper link below Our new pathway will be broken down into four-stages Prevention: * Early intervention and mediation * Family floating support * Emergency timeout provision Assessment: * Assessment centre * Youth hub Specialised, small housing-related support services: * Approximately 200 units of specialist accommodation (up to 7 units per building) including mental ill health, additional needs, female-only, LGBTQ, young mothers and babies, 16 to 17-year-olds, gang-involved, and supported lodgings * Pathway Clinical Psychology Team * Pathway Social Worker Successful moves into independent living: * Floating support * Housing first * Procurement of private-rented sector accommodation We look forward to meeting with you soon, Sophie Konradsen Strategic Commissioning Manager, Supported Housing Lambeth Council Additional information: Please follow the link to register.
