Summary: Network Rail Infrastructure Limited is planning a remote condition monitoring platform for Britain’s railway infrastructure. The service will pilot paid, supported internships using NHS organisations as work-placement hosts, helping participants who are furthest from education, employment or training. The provider will coach and mentor young people, work with local organisations to design recruitment, train NHS line managers and support delivery of the pilot. The programme is intended for 18 to 25-year-olds who have the right to work in the UK and meet the eligibility criteria in the procurement specification. Impact of HPV self-testing- insights & good practice in FGM, sexual abuse&trauma

Description: With the planned roll-out of HPV self-testing, we may see improvements in uptake rates, however there will still be a need for cervical screening for those where self-testing indicates high risk HPV, meaning that there will be an ongoing need to provide culturally competent and trauma informed interventions in cervical screening services. Previous insights suggest that although there are a small number of specialist services concentrated in major cities in England which provide a range of women's health services for women who have experienced FGM, including cervical screening, many women are unaware of these or are unable to access them. Summary: NHS England is commissioning research and service-development work on the impact of HPV self-testing for women and people with a cervix who have experienced female genital mutilation, sexual abuse or other trauma. The work covers health and research services and aims to improve access to culturally sensitive, trauma-informed cervical screening following HPV self-testing. It includes stakeholder research into accessibility, an international review of effective pathways, a review of education and training for healthcare practitioners, assessment of practitioners’ competence and confidence, co-production of training or other assets, and a small trial to evaluate their impact. The work supports NHS England’s plan to eliminate cervical cancer by 2040. Delivery is focused on England, with engagement across GP and specialist healthcare settings.
