Notice Title

Alumni Relations and Fundraising CRM system

Notice Description

The purpose of the Alumni Relations and Development team is to increase intellectual and emotional engagement between Cranfield and its alumni community and encourage alumni advocacy and support for the University. Alumni have the opportunity to play a significant role in the future advancement of the University, by supporting marketing and student recruitment activities, career development programmes, the student experience, engagement with business and government as well as through philanthropy. The Alumni Relations and Development team consists of 15 staff working across alumni data management and prospect research, events, communications, volunteer management, regular giving, major gifts and corporate and foundation relations. To encourage lifelong alumni engagement with the University, the team provides a range of programmes and services that are relevant and useful to alumni from across all four schools, including a robust programme of social, networking and learning events, both within the UK and internationally, regular electronic and print communications, access to social media groups and career resources, the Alumni Library Online and an Alumni Portal featuring a fully searchable online alumni directory. In order to effectively manage relationships with its ca. 85,000 alumni, the University is looking to install a CRM system with significant market presence within the UK HE alumni relations and development arena. This new system will support all areas of activity across alumni relations and fundraising including communications, event management, volunteer management, major gift fundraising regular giving including gift processing and stewardship, and corporate and foundation giving. The system will also need to link with other University systems as detailed in the requirements section below, and will provide reporting and business intelligence functionality that will be essential to the team's ability to measure and track progress.
