Notice Description

The successful Tenderer is required to support 2 elements of the Commonwealth Litter Programme (CLiP) 20/21 delivery - Sri Lanka and South Pacific. Element 1 - Sri Lanka The successful tenderer is required to design and deliver (remotely) a solid waste management workshop in response to the requirements of stakeholders from the recycling industry in Sri Lanka. To support the content development of this workshop, the successful tenderer will carry out an analysis of the challenges and needs of the waste management sector in Sri Lanka based on desk data gathering and on the results of other relevant CLiP activity. A short report should be prepared post workshop to summarise the topics discussed during the topic, key learnings and outputs of the workshop, and pictures/screenshot of the event. For this element of work, the tenderer will be required to create contents for social media for outreach purposes. Cefas will also need access to these contents to share on the CLiP social media pages. Element 2 - South Pacific The successful tenderer will conduct an evaluation report on the impacts of CLiP in collaboration with the Cefas marine litter team. This work should focus on how things have progressed in the last three/four years since CLiPs presence in region (FY 18/19). The successful tendered will develop a position paper on regional & national projects and research connected to marine litter actions in support of the evaluation. This will include: a. Specific focus for Solomon Islands and Vanuatu. b. Mapping stakeholders/ funders involved in these projects. c. Listing donor ready projects and connecting this to work already done as part of CLiP and also work already happening in region/ country.
