As part of the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero's (DESNZ) Local Net Zero Accelerator Programme, York and North Yorkshire Combined Authority have been asked to deliver a pilot project to understand if the Bristol City Leap model can be replicated in another place. This will unlock capacity in the local authorities to attract investment, boost green skills and accelerate the transition to net zero, whilst seeking to share learning and opportunities for further replication in other regions.
