Notice Description

The Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) requires a Supplier to undertake a mapping exercise of existing technical standards (issued by standards developing organisations) that are of relevance to the online harms space, including standards that are intended to target specific online harms and those that are relevant to the actions and technologies commonly used to counter them. This work includes a gap analysis of identified standards with key harms and mitigating actions outlined in the government's Online Harms White Paper ('OHWP') published in April 2019. The scope of this work consists of: - Reviewing and mapping of existing technical standards that have been produced by standards bodies that are relevant to online harms; - Undertaking a gap analysis of these existing standards, the harms that they are in response to, and the harms outlined in the government's Online Harms White Paper; and - Producing a final report on these findings.
