Notice Description

The Royal Borough of Greenwich is seeking to commission a new open framework agreement consisting of multiple, specialist agencies/providers to supply Locum Educational Psychologists to (1) complete statutory psychological advice in respect of children and young people undergoing statutory assessment under the provisions of the Children & Families Act (2014), and (2) to work within a consultation framework to deliver a traded Educational Psychology service to schools in the Royal Borough of Greenwich. The successful agencies/providers will enter into a Framework Agreement to provide Locum Education Psychologists cover to work: * across the Borough of Greenwich * Across phases of educational provision including early years, primary secondary and post 16. * With children and young people 0-25 years and their families * Across types of educational provision including specialist and mainstream settings * In home and residential settings as needed * Across all core areas of need as set out in the SEND Code of Practice, dependent on experience. * Collaboratively with colleagues within the Children's Services department, with schools/settings and partner agencies and with parents and carers to support the promotion and implementation of local and national priorities and initiatives regarding children & young people. The successful agencies/providers will be expected to provide Educational Psychologists that meet all the required mandatory as laid out in the specification document. The call off procedure will be via direct call off, or a mini competition. The procurement will take place under the Open Procedure as stipulated in the Public Contracts Regulations 2015. The Framework Agreement awarded will be for a period of four years and shall be awarded to multiple providers. Forecasts indicate that total expenditure in this area over the four year period which will be approximately PS630K.
