Notice Description

NHS Health Education England (HEE - the Commissioner) are commencing a tender to support the provision of A National Qualification in Specialty Programme for the Training of Critical Care Transfer Practitioners. This Tender relates to the provision of training and education of critical care nurses (CCN's) and other eligible professionals, for training as a Transfer Practitioner in ACCTS. This is a new requirement, for the delivery of an Adult Critical Care Transfer Practitioner Qualification in Specialty (QIS) for qualified CCN's and other eligible professionals. This provision will enable growth in the number of trained and competent staff able to work in ACCTS and provide consistency in training across the country. HEE is seeking to engage ACCTS to develop a 12-month QIS training programme for CCN's and other eligible professionals which aligns with the ACCTS Competency framework for the training of Transfer Practitioners. It has been identified that, across all ACCTS, this training is to be delivered to up to 50 CCN's and other eligible professionals over the next year. Submissions are welcome from service providers who can provide this training at one or more of the geographical locations (regions) identified. The tender is split into regional lots and HEE would like bidders to deliver to the below following: LOT 1 London LOT 2 South East LOT 3 South West LOT 4 East of England LOT 5 Midlands LOT 6 North West LOT 7 North East and Yorkshire This is an exciting opportunity to support Health Education England with this provision. The maximum financial envelope for this procurement exercise is PS226,000 inclusive of Vat (Capped PS4,520 per learner). The contract period will be for twelve (12) months, with no option to extend. The deadline for submission of completed ITT submissions has been extended to 9th January 2023 at 12:00pm (midday). Late submissions will not be accepted therefore, please submit in good time prior to the deadline date and time. All communications should be made via the messaging function on the e-Tendering portal during the tender exercise. The Contracting Authority requests that all communications are channelled through the e-portal system and not with the Contracting Authority itself other than as expressly permitted within this ITT.
