Notice Description

This project for Peterlee Town Council, is intended to provide an amenity room and storage space for the use of leisure gardeners (allotment holders) on the Thorntree Gill site. There is an existing accessible toilet on the site, and slabs/foundations from a previous brick and timber building that was demolished some years ago. The amenity room will have good 'green credentials', and will be powered by solar/pv panels and will use water tanks to capture rain water from the roof to be available for gardeners to use for watering plants, etc. Please Note: Durham County Council are facilitating the process on behalf of the Town Council.
