Notice Description

North of England Commissioning Support (NECS) working for and on behalf of NHS North Tyneside Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) wish to engage with potential providers through a Request for Information (RFI) process to inform future service model development and/or commissioning intentions for the provision of an Integrated Community MSK Service for the population of North Tyneside. The objectives are to: Increase the percentage of patients, completing treatment, reporting high levels of patient satisfaction and confidence in the MSK service. Achieve a high number of patients self-managing their condition. Provide patient and carer education. Transfer activity from an acute setting to the community. Improve the clinical pathway by developing joint working between primary and secondary care providers and clinicians. Increase the opportunities and management of patients in primary care without the need for referral to secondary care. Reduce health inequalities through improved access. Increase conversion rates for surgery (for referrals from the service to secondary care). Registering an Interest and Market Engagement Exercise The CCG is seeking to obtain input and feedback from provider organisations as part of the development of potential service models for delivery of an Integrated Community MSK Service. Please note that the deadline for RFI responses is 12.00 noon on Friday 4th March 2016. Please note that all communications and RFI submissions will be conducted via the In-Tend portal.
