We invite all suppliers to attend the Early Engagement Presentation being held on the 27th January 2022 at 2pm via Teams. To be added to this Teams invite please email Sarah-Ann Miles on sarah-ann.miles@defra.gov.uk with the details of each individual attending (persons name, job title and supplier they are representing). The presentation will be held at 2pm and should last no more than 2hrs. The presentation slides will be shared on the day. Below is the outline agenda: 1) Project introduction / Objectives - Jon B, 10 minutes 2) Phase 1 - Specification / Target Analytes - Jon B and James D, 10 minutes 3) Phase 2 - Test approach, James D, 5 minutes 4) Phase 3 - Goods Delivery, Jon B, 5 minutes 5) Phase 4 - Service Contract, Jon B, 5 minutes 6) Timescales & Procurement route - Procurement Lead, 5 minutes 7) Risks of procurement - Supplier feedback - ALL, 30 minutes 8) AOB - ALL, 5 minutes The Automatic Hydrocarbons Network is currently operated for the Environment Agency by the Network Contractors, which at the time of contract issue for this capital procurement is Ricardo Energy & Environment, although this may be subject to change. Presently the network constitutes four TD-GC-FID ozone precursor analysers . These instruments are used to measure 29 of the 31 VOCs listed in Annex X of the Air Quality Directive 2008/50/EC (AQD). Theses VOCs are known as Non-Methane Volatile Organic Compounds (NMVOCs).
