Notice Description

The Trust is seeking interested prefabrication partners to assist with design and build of the outline general arrangement shown in Appendix 1. The external facade of the building is yet to be agreed with the local Planning Department and it is envisaged that any partner would work closely with the Trust to address any questions relating to the external and internal elements of the proposal. The proposed prefabricated building specialist will need to work to the CDM regulations 2015 as the principal designer and carryout all technical design, specification and installation relating to the internal and external elements of the fabric of the building, the Trusts in-house design team will undertake or advise on all M&E requirements depending on the prefabricator's capability. Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust expects all design elements to comply with current legislation and guidelines (HBN/ HTMs), and where any items is not able to comply with any of the aforementioned regulations or guidelines Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust is to be informed so they are able to make an informed decision. At this stage it is not envisaged that the ground works would be carried out by a separate contractor however, the Trust is happy to accept proposals from companies that are capable of carrying out the entire scheme. What is required? At this stage, the Trust would like to invite any company wishing to work in partnership with Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust to submit the following: 1. Level of partnership proposed (structure only or full build and fit out) 2. Outline time scales based on a potential on-site date of Monday 4th January 2016. 3. References to schemes similar to the one proposed. 4. Cost implications of a second floor being added at this stage or at a later date as office space, square metre rate?
