Notice Description

The Children's Commissioning Team, who work across Cambridgeshire County Council (CCC) and Peterborough City Council (PCC) are looking at our arrangements for Home & Community Support for children & young people. We are seeking to engage with providers who have experience providing Home Care, Domiciliary Care and/or Community Support. Please follow the link below to complete a short questionnaire that will take 5-10 minutes and will inform how Children's Commissioning develop Home & Community Support provision for children and young people going forward. Currently CCC and PCC use a Home & Community Support Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) to procure Home & Community Support for children and young people across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. This DPS is also used to procure support for adult service users. Children's Commissioning are looking at having separate arrangements for children and young people. We are also looking at contracting arrangements; in terms of having a new framework/DPS or introducing block contract options as well. Generally speaking, providers can seek to join a framework/DPS; if successful, providers then pick up referrals and be paid on an hourly rate basis. These referrals are not guaranteed and can vary. Block contracts relate to providing a particular number of hours support over a year for a fixed sum.
