UK Maritime Business Development - Clarkson's Research Services
Notice Description
The UK Shipping Concierge is a central government service collaborating and sharing data across wider government departments with the aim of growing UK maritime investment. To do this we need to access the highest quality market data in an efficient and timely manner. A multi license subscription to Clarksons data is a key tool in this process. A key step in the commercial strategy is to map commercial shipbuilding activity both in the UK and internationally and have up-to-date industry forecasts and protection. Access to Clarksons Shipbuilding forecast is the best way to continue and develop this profile and inform the commercial offer to our customers. Clarksons holds the largest amount of shipping market commercial data. It is the only supplier to hold real time extensive data on the entire global fleet including shipowners, operators and flag data. As part of the Clarksons Group, the world leader in integrated commercial shipping services, a subscription is a unique option, there are no other suppliers to provide this. To support the 24/7 contact promise of the concierge it is imperative the team have the ability to be agile and responsive to our stakeholders and customers. A subscription with four licenses allows us to do this in the most efficient way. The Clarksons Shipbuilding Forum is a unique industry product giving access to industry data unavailable in the same format elsewhere. It also includes data sharing, networking and events to support the forecasting of shipbuilding to 2030. This data forms a key part of the UKCS shipbuilding data support and research workstreams for our function.
