The aim of this research is to: - provide the GMC with insight into doctors' perceptions of us and our role in 2025. - test some new questions with doctors to help us consider their use in the full tracking survey which will be conducted in 2026, and will be commissioned separately. - provide the GMC with insight into the public's perceptions of us and our role in 2025. - test some new questions with the public to help us consider their use in the full tracking survey which will be conducted in 2026, and will be commissioned separately. - provide the GMC with insight into physician associates and anaesthesia associates perceptions of us and our role in 2025. - explore how some of the questions we have used in previous years with doctors work (in some cases in a necessarily adapted form) with physician associates and anaesthesia associates, who are new audiences for us following the GMC becoming a multiprofessional regulator in late 2024.
