Summary of the contracting process

The Education and Training Foundation is conducting a tender for "The essential management programme for new and existing SEND Managers" aimed at providing essential training for Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) managers. This open procedure, which falls under the category of education and training services, is currently in the tender stage and closes on 11 May 2018. The contract, starting on 28 May 2018 and running until 15 March 2019, will be implemented across various regions in the United Kingdom, including North East, North West, and London.

This tender presents an excellent opportunity for businesses specialising in education and training services, particularly those focused on special education and professional development. Companies that provide Continuous Professional Development (CPD) programmes or have experience in developing and delivering training resources are particularly well-suited to compete. Moreover, the inclusion of SMEs and VCSEs in the suitability criteria encourages smaller organisations that can offer tailored solutions to apply, thereby enhancing their potential for growth and collaboration in this sector.
