Summary of the contracting process

The NHS Midlands and Lancashire Commissioning Support Unit is seeking potential providers for a market engagement event regarding the "End of life (EOL) Nursing home care service" initiative, which targets health and social work services. This event is scheduled to take place on 5th December 2019 from 10:00 to 12:30 at St Peters Baptist Church in Worcester, England. Interested parties must register by emailing the necessary details by 5pm on 2nd December 2019. The procurement process is currently in the planning stage, with the engagement serving as a precursor to the forthcoming Invitation to Tender (ITT) that will be publicly advertised.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses involved in health and social care, particularly those specialising in end-of-life services. Organisations that provide personalised high-quality care, training for staff in end-of-life practices, or those equipped to facilitate care in designated nursing homes will be well-suited to compete. This is an excellent chance for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary, community, and social enterprises (VCSEs) to engage with the NHS and contribute to enhancing end-of-life care within the Worcestershire region.
