Summary of the contracting process

The public procurement process for the "Construction Impact Framework," initiated by Safe Regeneration Ltd, is currently in the Award stage. This project, classified under the construction works category (CPV code 45000000), has a contract value of approximately £13,333,333 and is set within the geographical regions of North West, Yorkshire and Humberside, Wales, and Scotland. The contract period commenced on 24 March 2018 and will run until 23 March 2020. The tender was completed on 29 January 2018, following an open procurement procedure that allows for mini-competitions or direct awards based on technical ability and cost across multiple lots, selecting up to 10 supply partners for each lot.

This tender presents significant opportunities for construction firms, particularly those with expertise in providing services to public sector bodies such as NHS Foundation Trusts, local authorities, and universities. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) engaged in construction, architecture, and related consulting fields will be well-suited to compete, especially given the multi-lot structure that favours a variety of suppliers. The project aligns with sector needs for innovative construction solutions and sustainable development practices, making it an ideal platform for businesses aiming to expand their public sector portfolio.
