Notice Title

Independent Fostering and Adoption - Soft Market Test

Notice Description

Sheffield is considering, and is seeking to establish the market appetite for the purchasing of foster beds from IFA's within the Sheffield authority boundary, as they become available, for a period of (for example) 24 months. These beds would be for age 10 plus and would be subject to robust expectations to maintain placements through young people's complex behaviour, within the agreed safety boundaries for all concerned. The risk of non-placement would sit with the Council.
