Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for the Provision of Home to School and College Transport
Notice Description
Bury Council is seeking applications from suitably qualified and experienced operators for inclusion on a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for home to school and college transport. The service provides transport for children and young people with special educational needs to schools and colleges both within and outside the borough of Bury. The passengers using this service will have a range of additional needs; learning difficulties, behavioural difficulties, sensory, hearing and visual difficulties, autistic spectrum disorder or physical disability. A passenger escort will be allocated to a schedule where required to accompany the passengers on their journey to and from school/college however, some children and young people are able to travel unaccompanied. The DPS will commence on 1 June 2019 for a period of 3 academic years with an option to extend for a further academic year. The closing time for completed submissions, to be included on the initial DPS, is 12 noon on Tuesday 2nd April 2019, via The Chest. www.the-chest.org.uk. Submissions arriving after the closing time and date won't be considered until all initial applications have been evaluated and may not be until after the commencement of the DPS on 1st June 2019.
