Notice Title
Dementia Services, Norfolk and Waveney
Notice Description
Norfolk and Waveney CCG seeks to award a contract for a service that provides specialist support to adults with dementia and their family carers across the dementia trajectory from pre assessment through to end of life and post bereavement. The service should include provision of easily accessible, ongoing specialist advice information and support, alongside clinical interventions that enable people with dementia and their family carers to experience improved health and social care outcomes and an enhanced quality of life. The service must be able to demonstrate understanding, knowledge, and expertise in relation to dementia, and its impact on families affected by the condition. It must also demonstrate an ability to use a person-centred approach delivering the most appropriate level of support at the right time. The service model should include a clinical component provided by skilled specialist practitioners who provide biopsychosocial support to families with complex needs alongside specialist education and advice to health and social care colleagues. The market engagement event will discuss the proposed service, as well as the procurement process, and give an opportunity for questions and answers. Parties interested are invited to a Market Engagement Event for Dementia Services for Norfolk and Waveney, to take place via a 'teams' call on 23rd June 2021, from 2 to 3pm. If you wish to participate, please can you email the address below (4) prior to 5pm on 19th June 2021 and we shall invite you to the call. Please note this is the same service as described in an earlier notice (Published 7th May, 2021). That notice advertised a Market Engagement which was subsequently cancelled, to be replaced by the event notified here.
