Notice Description

The works are to be undertaken at: 60-60a Willenhall Road Wolverhampton WV1 2HJ The project comprises of the demolition of 60-60a Willenhall Road buildings and garage. The Works will include the following: * Provide temporary perimeter security, pedestrian/vehicle segregation along pavements; and partial closure of St Matthew Road; * Remove rear garden wall to St Matthew Road; * Remove all fly-tipping + trees from rear garden; * Ensure all services to or across the site are no longer 'live'; * Provide additional structural support to E boundary walls + neighbour's roof inside garage; * Remove all asbestos + ACMs and contaminated waste; * Remove garage assembly from SE corner + make good neighbour's party wall; * Dismantle high level brickwork from gables + avoid damage to adjacencies; * Remove rest of N buildings, including foundations + basement; * Isolate, temporarily adjust electricity services to neighbour's side of E boundary wall; * Take down boundary wall to E alleyway to safe level + rebuild, with new copings; * Form new protective housing for neighbour's electricity meters; * Grub up all underground services; * Remove all rubble + other materials arising; * Provide permanent secure fencing, as specified; * Make good levels, as specified. * The PC shall allow for commissioning a structural report before safely removing any boundary walls.
