Notice Description

Nottingham City Council is seeking to establish an open Accreditation of organisations able to deliver Day and Evening Services across the City of Nottingham. The Accreditation will form the mechanism for securing approved and assessed providers able to deliver Day and Evening Services for adults as they are required. The Council will place packages through the Accreditation to meet the needs of adult citizens who meet the eligibility criteria of Nottingham City Council, for the provision of outcome focussed, person centred, day and evening services for vulnerable adults including those with a learning disability, mental health issues, physical disabilities, older people and people with other social care needs (18 years+) with a personal budget. The focus of these services is to increase the Citizens' skills for independence. Once Accredited, providers who are able to provide a required service will be selected to deliver packages on the basis of who can best meet the needs of the citizen, citizen choice and value for money (as detailed in the Accreditation documents). Application Documents can be downloaded from www.eastmidlandstenders.org. The closing date for receipt of completed Accreditation Application Forms is 12 noon on Friday 18 November 2016 to be sent to www.eastmidlandstenders.org. The Accreditation will be in place for three years from February 2016 with the potential to extend for a further three years at the discretion of Nottingham City Council. The total value of the service requirement is approximately PS5,888,593 pa across all service providers. This is a competitive procurement process for social and specific services in accordance with the Public Contract Regulations 2015 and is a Light Touch Procurement.
