Summary of the contracting process

The West Yorkshire Combined Authority is seeking to appoint an agency for the Leeds City Region Employment and Skills Campaign, a marketing project with a total value of £122,340. The procurement process is currently at the award stage, having been published on 20th May 2020. The campaign is aimed at developing an integrated marketing and public relations strategy for employment and skills initiatives, set to run from August 2019 to March 2020. The procurement falls under the category of marketing services and takes place primarily in West Yorkshire, UK.

This tender presents a significant opportunity for marketing and public relations firms, particularly those with expertise in creating integrated campaigns. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) specialising in marketing services would be well-positioned to compete, given the emphasis on delivering comprehensive strategies, media bookings, and PR activities. As agencies are expected to build on existing creative guidelines, businesses with a strong background in similar projects are likely to benefit from this opportunity.
