In 2014, the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames were successful in their application for funding from The Department for Communities and Local Government (DCLG) and awarded PS188,625 for incentivising food waste recycling in existing flat developments. Of this allocation PS150,000 remains available for the Council to appoint an established operator to deliver the project on our behalf.
