Notice Description

The procurement calls for the creation of a pilot programme of Evidence-Based Neuro Music Therapy Services at Caroline House, Colman Centre, (Norwich) - working with Norfolk Community Health and Care NHS Trust. This Procurement is being conducted in a manner with the Light Touch Regime regulations for Health Services. Contractors will be required to meet all recognised ethical and practice standards for Music Therapy. As such, the Music Therapists must be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council. They must have a minimum of an MA in Music Therapy and be registered with the British Association for Music Therapy. In addition, to meet the terms of the contract, the Music Therapists must also possess additional training, skills and support in the specific discipline of Neurologic Music Therapy. They must be trained as MATADOC assessors (Music Therapy Assessment Tool in Awareness for Disorders of Consciousness: W. Magee 2012). Having been trained to a level recognised by the World Federation of Neurologic Rehabilitation, the European Federation of Neurorehabilitation Societies (EFNS), and the International Society for Clinical Neuromusicology (CNM) will be a distinct benefit. The deadline for tender submissions is NOON on Monday, 23rd December 2019. Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
