Notice Description

Herefordshire Council will be running a Market Engagement event for all businesses interested in delivering assessed specialist individual daytime short break services for Herefordshire Council. Herefordshire Council procures services across a wide range of business areas and wish to engage with suppliers to ensure that organisations have the best opportunity to be aware of and bid for procurements. The All ages Commissioning Team are responsible for the commissioning, monitoring and management of Short breaks services. The aim is to support the council to ensure there is a sufficient range of short break services available locally to meet the needs of disabled children and their parents/carers in the county. The service will provide support hours either in the child's family home or in their local community. The number of hours each child requires will be based on their assessed need and to be delivered over a number of sessions throughout the year. The event will cover a range of topics including information of where to find council opportunities, how to successfully bid for them and specific information about the upcoming opportunity together with opportunities to ask questions and network.
