Notice Title

PEDPS Contract 17091 - Stocken Music Programme

Notice Description

PEDPS 08 Arts. A provision that captures, inspires and motivates men who are interested in digital music production of dance, grime, rap, acoustic, indie, rock and house music, amongst others. The course could form the basis of a Level 1 qualification in Music Production, with the opportunity to study a Level 2 for those who have successfully completed the Level 1, but could equally be an employability and personal development qualification taught through music production. If the course is non-accredited then clear learning outcomes would need to be identified so that bespoke certificates can be placed on record. The content could include, but will not be limited to composition, recording, engineering (post-production) and sequencing/looping. It should also be employment and enterprise focussed meaning that learners will be required to understand, at an appropriate level, the workings of the music industry and how to gain access through employment or artistic endeavour.
