Notice Description

This tender is a call-off from the NWUPC Framework Agreement for High Value Laboratory Equipment (HVLE) for Lot 1: Gene Expression and Genotyping Analysis Equipment, Associated Equipment, Accessories, Consumables, Maintenance and Servicing of Equipment. The University is tendering for a high-throughput Next-Generation Sequencer (NGS) with an integrated Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS). The scope of the contract is for the supply, delivery, installation, training and options for a 2 year; 4 year and a 5 year service contract to begin once the 12 month warranty period has expired. The sequencer will be used within the Newcastle University Genomic Core Facility (GCF) a university wide resource. The sequencer will be operated by dedicated and experienced NGS staff and will play a central role in large-scale discovery and translational research programmes.
