LUMINOUS is a unique film event celebrating British film talent - past, present and future. The bi-annual Gala raises vital new funds for the BFI National Archive and the BFI's nationwide film education programmes, whilst positioning the BFI and the BFI London Film Festival as the go-to events on the global social calendar. This year's gala will be held on Tuesday 3 October 2017 in London's historic Guildhall (http://www.guildhall.cityoflondon.gov.uk/). The date is set for the night before Opening Night of the BFI London Film Festival in partnership with American Express (4-15 October 2017). This year's edition seeks to build on our success, and help us establish the event more firmly on the London and international society calendar. BFI wish to secure a reliable and inspired team that can put all production and creative elements together.
