Health Education England are putting out this notice as a PIN (Prior Information Notice) with a view to completing a Direct Award to Stroke Specific Education Framework (SSEF) project team at Stroke Research Team, University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) The case for direct award can be found on the tender portal. HEE is seeking a provider to Support and develop of the Stroke-Specific Education Framework HEE believes that it is highly unlikely for any other supplier to be able to provide the following skills/tools provided by SSEF as a current supplier for the following reasons: * The multidisciplinary team of researchers have both clinical and academic networks, and an extensive portfolio of applied healthcare research and education. The SSEF project team have extensive experience of research with, and for, the stroke workforce, including collaborations with NHS Trusts around SSEF aligned training needs analysis, task and time mapping, and the development of innovative roles for stroke care delivery. The UCLan Innovation Lab team were instrumental in the design and delivery of the SSEF Online Toolkit, and bring expertise to inform and operationalise innovative developments identified by this programme of work. * A collaboration between HEE and the SSEF commenced in 2020, with the SSEF underpinning the development of workforce transformation strategies, and a programme of work is underway including: a nationwide stakeholder engagement survey; a national in-depth review working group; and the revision, update, and rebranding of the online toolkit. The resulting updated SSEF and Online Toolkit will be launched at the UK Stroke Forum in November 2021, with an accompanying parallel session including presentations from the NHS National Clinical Director for stroke, the Rehabilitation and Life after Stroke Workstream Lead, and the HEE Postgraduate Dean. This highlights SSEF project team's high involvement with current programmes and projects, noting their expertise and knowledge regarding the framework and their profound clinical contracts. * HEE and SSEF have collaborated successfully to develop the Stroke Programme and its accompanying Stroke Toolkit of online resources to create over 100 learning sessions, of which 40 are stroke specific. The case for the development of this credential has been signed off by DEQ SLT and meets a mandate deliverable. https://health-family-contract-search.secure.force.com/?SearchType=Projects All communications should be made via the messaging function on the Health Family eTendering portal.
