UK SBS is managing this procure process in accordance with the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (as amended from time to time) (the "Regulations"). This is a services contract. Brief Description of Requirement: UK Shared Business Services Ltd (UK SBS), on behalf of The Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy (BEIS) wishes to appoint a supplier to provide expert advice from global technology experts that have a relationship with many of the leading firms in each sector, and who will have undertaken technology horizon scanning exercises. The successful bidder shall help inform the development of policy around the Seven Technology Families identified by the Innovation Strategy, we are seeking access to a repository of technology expertise that we can draw on to inform policy development. The Seven Technology Families are: - Advanced Materials and manufacturing - AI, digital and advanced computing - Bioinformatics and genomics - Engineering Biology - Electronics, photonics and quantum technologies - Energy and environment technologies - Robotics and smart machines A brief description of the required services has been provided above however bidders are to refer to the Tender Documentations for full details on this requirement.
