Notice Description

Significant investment is being made in the infrastructure of Cambridgeshire by the Greater Cambridgeshire Partnership (GCP), the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined Authority (CA) and Cambridgeshire County Council (CCC) in order to reduce pressure on the region's transport networks and ensure continued economic success. The successful delivery of this investment will require a high quantity of high-quality professional services across a wide range of disciplines. The value of the professional services has been estimated at approximately PS13M per annum. A decision paper recommending the commencement of the procurement of a professional services contract (s) / framework for the use of the three authorities was approved by CCC's Economy and Environment Committee on 10 January 2019. A Model Options Appraisal is currently being been carried out and the authorities wish to consult with organisations with relevant experience of the delivery of similar services. The purpose of the consultation is to seek the views of market participants on potential service delivery models. The consultation will assist the authorities to finalise the model and the conduct of the planned procurement. The authorities will host a market engagement event near Cambridge on the morning of Friday 14th June 2019. At the event, representatives of the authorities will present their plans and priorities and invite questions and feedback from attendees. Organisations that wish to attend the event are requested to confirm their interest in attending to JPS@cambridgeshire.gov.uk by Monday 10th June 2019. Organisations that confirm their interest will be provided with an Information Pack and short questionnaire prior to the event. Organisations will be requested to submit the completed questionnaires shortly after the market engagement event to assist the organisations to finalise the service delivery and procurement model. The authorities intend to proceed to procurement in accordance with the following indicative timescales. * Market engagement event: 14 June 2019 * Finalise contract model and tender documents: Summer 2019 * Commence procurement: Autumn 2019 * Contract Award: Spring 2020 However, the authorities make no guarantees that this PIN and market engagement will be followed with a Contract Notice or Tender.
