East Staffordshire Community Services Market Engagement
Notice Description
This is an excellent opportunity for a provider to work for East Staffordshire CCG to deliver core community services for all ages and all people registered with one of the 18 East Staffordshire GP practices. We are looking for a provider who can deliver high quality community services which are: patient centred, responsive, in line with NHS quality standards (Schedule 4 NHS Standard Contract), safe and sustainable. The current indicative services identified at this stage are a range of core community services (including current in reach community services at HMP Dovegate). These are core community services for all ages and for all patients registered with one of the 18 GP practices across East Staffordshire CCG: 1. specific community specialist and generalist nursing services. 2. intermediate care/rehabilitation services/therapies 3. community children's services. Service category indicative services included in scope but not limited to: community nursing: all ages: community matrons, community district nursing specialist nursing: all ages rapid response, dietetics nutrition support, palliative team, adult ability team, continence service, tissue viability, clinical nurse specialist learning disabilities- primary care. Intermediate care/rehabilitation services/therapies: all ages unless otherwise stated: musculoskeletal intermediate service (MIS), community therapies and falls, stroke rehabilitation service podiatry service, enteral feeds, physiotherapy for adults with a developmental disorder (PADD), speech and language therapy- adult learning disability (East Staffordshire), care co-ordination centre. Community children's services: paediatric physiotherapy, paediatric enteral feeds, paediatric speech and language therapy. Derbyshire community services: all ages unless otherwise indicated: community podiatry service, consultant led outpatients service, inpatient services, minor injuries unit, outpatient physiotherapy, occupational therapy and musculoskeletal service, older people's mental health inpatient and day services, podiatric surgical services, speech and language therapy for adults, paediatric speech and language therapy. We will be seeking tenders from organisations who share the STP ambition and are willing to work with us to deliver high quality, core community services and to gain the benefits that this will bring in relation to positive health outcomes for patients, improved carer and patient experience and the realisation of efficiencies in the community services. A Market Engagement event will be held on Tuesday 9th July 2019. Interested parties are asked to express their interest via email to elizabeth.johnson1@nhs.net and Olena.florek@nhs.net stating your Company name and contact details, and the names of any delegates attending, by no later than Monday 8th July 12:00 noon. Additional information: Total value of the service across two years is PS18,332,980. The CCG is holding a market engagement event for all those who wish to potentially participate in the procurement. This will provide an opportunity for providers to answer the following questions: what is your model of delivery for community services in East Staffordshire? How would you work as a partner in Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent? This event will be held 11am-2pm Tuesday 9th July 2019 at Branston Golf Club (Burton Road, Branston, Burton upon Trent DE14 3DP). Interested parties are asked to express their interest via email to elizabeth.johnson1@nhs.net and Olena.florek@nhs.net stating your Company name and contact details, with the names of any delegates attending by no later than Monday 8th July 12:00 noon.
