Notice Description

The Future Homes Alliance (FHA), is a not-for-profit Community Interest Company (CiC) which was incorporated on 6th April 2018 (as a Company limited by shares) to develop better housing suitable for everyone. The shareholders are: The Elders Council, Zero Carbon Futures, Sustainable Communities Initiative, Innovation SuperNetwork, Ryder Architects and Newcastle University; chaired by Professor Rose Gilroy. FHA is looking to build on a very strong brand and sustain a robust business model for the longer term. The FHA wishes to bring in a CEO to work with partners and directors to develop and implement a clear activity business plan to ensure a self-managed entity. Working with a quadruple helix model (stakeholders: commerce, third sector, academic and municipality) to secure funding to add value to subsequent developments. The CEO will be tasked with exploring the funding community, regionally and nationally to ensure the sustainability of the FHA business model in the long-term.
