Notice Description

London Borough of Ealing has awarded a contract for an OFSTED registered provider to deliver a 6-bed short break service for children and young people with disabilities within the Borough of Ealing. The service commenced on 5th August 2020, following the successful provider completing the required OFSTED registration to provide accommodation with personal care for children and young people aged between 9 and 18. The procurement was conducted in accordance with Section 7 (Social and Other Specific Services) of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015. The service is being delivered from newly built premises in Northolt. The contract for the Haydock service is a "core and flexi" model. The value of the core contract is in the region of PS440k per annum. We anticipate the value of the flexible element to potentially be up to PS184k per annum. The duration of the contract is (10) years with two (2) possibilities of five (5) year extensions. The service provides accommodation based short breaks for children and young people (aged 9 to 18) with disabilities.
