Notice Description

Award of a call off contract under the Prison Education Dynamic Purchasing System for a Departure Lounge Service for Prisoners at HMP Lincoln. The Departure Lounge will deliver a release support model, starting with gathering information at 12 weeks prior to Earliest Date of Release (EDR) to identify any barriers to resettlement and effective reducing of re-offending. The Departure Lounge will also support the preparation for release in conjunction with the Offender Management Unit (OMU), the Prison Offender Manager (POM), and the Community Offender Manager (COM) and other colleagues, where prisoners will be supported to identify their needs, aspirations and goals and make referrals in the following reducing re-offending pathways identified. - Education, training, and employment - Accommodation - Drugs and Alcohol - Mental health - Physical health - Finance, benefit and debt - Attitude, thinking and behaviour - Family and significant others
