    The University has awarded a contract for hexapod hoses. he UKCRIC Soil-Foundation-Structure Interaction Laboratory is a state-of-the-art facility designed to enable research into the structural-geotechnical boundary, supporting the UKCRIC mission to underpin the renewal, sustainment and improvement of infrastructure and cities in the UK and elsewhere. Key equipment includes a 6m x 4m biaxial seismic shaking table, a smaller 6-degree of freedom shaking table (Hexapod) and a 4m deep soil-foundation test pit. Our Hexapod is a high performance, high acceleration seismic shaking table used for cutting edge research and high value commercial work. It operates using a 280 bar, 2000lpm hydraulic power unit. We require replacement of the hydraulic hoses in August 2024

The existing hose routing has caused some abrasion due to the highly dynamic operation of the table so we would also welcome recommendations to improve the routing and avoid unnecessary damage during the life of the new hoses.
