BT1752 Architects Services for Development Car Park, Library Road, Luton
Notice Description
MEET THE BUYER MEETING This tender will suit a cross functional organisation with strong Quantity Surveyor and/or Cost Consultant capability. The core deliverable being sought is a set of three outline design concepts and their associated cost plans. We are not expecting designs that fit with any of RIBA's Plan of Works stages, but we are expecting costs that we can rely on to make an investment decision. The design options will be worked on in conjunction with Luton Borough Council but will include different configurations of the site, for instance to densify the parking capacity or to open up the accessway. Additionally, we are interested in hearing from organisations about how they can support two additional extension pieces of work. 1. Modelling that can be provided to understand how many car and sustainable parking spaces the town centre will need. This will require an organisation that can model future parking demand. This modelling will then be used to inform the design. 2. Carrying out revenue forecasting for the new facility based on either the above modelling or based on modelling that Luton BC provides the consultant. If you would like to attend the Meet the Buyer to hear more about the opportunity on Monday 21 October 2024 @ 4pm please email Caroline.sturman@luton.gov.uk before 12 noon on Monday 21 October 2024 and you will be sent a Teams invite.
