A combination of preferably two facilities as a complete set that can be run in parallel to meet specification: Temperature range: -100 ?C to 1250 ?C (Mandatory) Thermal conductivity range: 0.1 W/(m.K) to 2000 W/(m.K) (Mandatory) Accuracy: Thermal diffusivity: ? 3% (Mandatory) Repeatability: Thermal diffusivity: ? 2% (Mandatory) Sample applicability: Solid disks/plates (Mandatory) Powders/pastes/resin/Liquid (Highly desirable) Coatings on substrates (to measure coatings directly) (Highly desirable) Anisotropic samples (Highly desirable) Atmosphere: Air/inert gas/Vacuum (Room temperature to 1250?C) (Mandatory) 5%H2/95%Ar (room temperature to 1000 ?C) (Highly desirable) Additional information: TENDERERS MUST EXPRESS THEIR INTEREST THROUGH FIRST REGISTERING ON THE UNIVERSITY'S E-TENDERING SYSTEM https://in-tendhost.co.uk/universityofnottingham/ Non-compliant expressions of interest (EOI) will not be considered or acknowledged. The university reserves the right to cancel the tender process at any stage.
