Notice Description

Following the success of the first and second phases Barnsley MBC (The Council) is launching a third phase Property Investment Fund, PIF3. The Council's Property Investment Funds have helped to facilitate 387,000 square ft of commercial property development since 2016. Following on from this success, the Council is now launching a third phase of support, to stimulate speculative high quality industrial development within the borough, by working in partnership with developers to overcome demonstrable viability constraints. The Scheme will allow Developers with land suitable for development for commercial premises in the Borough to apply for assistance to bridge agreed viability gaps. Developers are invited to download and complete an application for funding via the scheme via this system by the 25th of February to be considered. Further information on the process for allocation of funding is available in the application form.
