Summary of the contracting process

The NHS Kernow Clinical Commissioning Group is currently conducting a tender for the 'Children's Mental Health Support Teams' programme, aimed at enhancing mental health services within the education sector. This procurement falls under the health services industry category, specifically focusing on delivering interventions for mild to moderate mental health issues. The tender period ends on 15th July 2019, with the contract expected to commence on 2nd September 2019 and continue until 31st August 2021. The process follows an open procurement method, allowing a wide range of bidders to participate, and is located in the South West region of the United Kingdom.

This tender presents an excellent opportunity for businesses involved in health services, particularly those specialising in mental health support, educational services, and counselling. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary, community, and social enterprises (VCSEs) are particularly encouraged to apply, as the initiative aims to integrate diverse service providers into existing support frameworks in schools and colleges. Companies that can offer evidence-based interventions, support for mental health leads, and timely advice within educational settings will find this procurement highly relevant for growth and collaboration with educational institutions.
