Notice Description

A programme of work has been initiated by Bedfordshire Commissioning Group (CCG) to review Domiciliary Care Services across the Bedfordshire footprint. The overall project aims of the Domiciliary Care Services are to: Increase the quality of life for service users; Assure quality of services and patient satisfaction; Evidence best value for publicly funded services; Establish common and robust approaches to contracting; Facilitate equitable choices for service users. It is expected that key strategies will emerge from early programme outcomes over the next two months leading to procurement activities planned from March 2019 onwards. This is a Request for Information (RFI) published on behalf of Bedfordshire Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG). The purpose of this RFI is to gauge market interest for the provision of Domiciliary Care Services in Bedfordshire Providers are invited to participate in this RFI including providers currently in the Domiciliary Care Services market or considering a move into the market within the Bedfordshire geographic area. With this RFI, the CCG seeks to discover from potential providers information regarding their organisation and services and other specific information as specified in Appendix A. The information will be gathered and will be used to inform the CCG's service model for a Domiciliary Care services and future procurement plan. In order to respond to this RFI, please complete the response sections at Appendix B and return a copy, alongside any relevant documentation you wish to include, to rod.skinner@attain.co.uk by no later than 12:00 on 21st January 2019. Also, please note that a provider engagement event is planned for Wed 6th Feb in Bedfordshire - more details will follow in a separate Contracts Finder advert. Responders to this RFI should note that no concessions, contracts or other arrangements will be awarded pursuant to this RFI. Responding, or not responding, to this RFI will neither increase nor decrease any provider's chances of being awarded a contract from any subsequent Invitation to Tender process. The CCG shall not be responsible for any costs or expenses incurred by respondents to this RFI in preparing and / or submitting such responses.
