Notice Description

NEC Site Supervisor Services for the Isle of Man Ferry Terminal, Liverpool The Isle of Man Government invites expressions of interest to provide NEC site supervisor services to the Department of Infrastructure. The new Isle of Man ferry terminal project in Liverpool will involve design and construction of works in a variety of engineering disciplines including: - ground works and remediation, - building construction, - building services, - civil engineering - highways and - marine engineering. The service will be provided in two periods: - on-site construction works. - post completion of the construction works. The NEC Site Supervisor will be expected to have knowledge and experience in one or more of the above disciplines and have his/her technical competence acknowledged by a recognised professional body for example: - The Institution of Marine Engineering, Science and Technology - The Institution of Civil Engineers, - The Institution of Structural Engineers, - Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers The successful tenderer will be responsible for providing the service with a named individual performing the role of the NEC Site Supervisor. The role will require the individual to work on site where construction and engineering works will take place over an extended period of time. Continuity and availability of appropriately qualified and experienced consultants are considered crucial for the successful delivery of the service and the project. In order to participate in this competitive exercise, your organisation must be registered on the Isle of Man Government's Procurement Portal. If you have not previously registered, please visit https://in-tendhost.co.uk/iomg/aspx/Home and select 'Register' from the menu on the left side of the Home Page. Once you have registered your organisation you should select this tender from the list of 'Current Tenders' and 'View Details' then click 'Express Interest' at the bottom of the page. Once you have clicked on 'Express an Interest' a 'Form of Acknowledgement' tab will appear. This tab will provide a copy of the 'Appeals Procedure' to be downloaded. In order to progress to the next stage of the process you will need to 'Opt-In' and complete the 'Form of Acknowledgment' questionnaire and click 'Submit Return' before the Expression of Interest deadline as detailed below.
