Notice Description

Leicestershire Children and Family Services (CFS) is seeking a partner to collaboratively work with to jointly design and deliver services that meet the objectives of the CFS Care Placement Strategy. In the first instance the partner will work with Leicestershire's CFS to; Increase the availability and reduce the cost of high quality 'high needs' social care placements; Work with in-house services such as fostering and adoption to make sure they are high quality, commercially competitive and able to achieve a level of growth sufficient to meet demand; Provide additional capacity and enhance edge of care services. The partner will be expected to be able to bring its own financial contribution to the partnership. CFS is not looking for traditional consultancy. The partner will need to both advise, assist with delivering major change and could also result in being a joint partner in terms of direct service delivery. Further information on the requirements can be downloaded from East Midlands Procurement portal (www.eastmidstenders.org). Through issuing this advert, Leicestershire County Council is seeking feedback from the market to inform the development of the Children's Services Partnership. Any organisation or group of organisations interested in participating in this market engagement exercise should express an interest through the Council's e-tendering website and submit an introduction on how their organisation or group of organisations could meet these requirements using the market test document that can be downloaded from the e-tendering portal. The introduction should be completed and returned to the Council, via the e-tendering portal, by midday (12:00) on 23rd April 2018. The Council will hold a briefing event for interested providers on 10th April 2018 10:30 to 11:30 at County Hall, Glenfield, Leicester, LE3 8RA.
