Notice Description

Cheshire East, Cheshire West and Chester, Halton and Warrington Safeguarding Adults Boards, Safeguarding Children's Partnership's and the four area Community Safety Partnerships are committed to protecting children, young people and adults form all types of exploitation. The pan-Cheshire arrangements, under the governance of Protecting Most Vulnerable have been seeking to develop a shared approach to our exploitation reduction strategies and intervention models. At a sub-regional level we are eager to come together to build on previous shared exploitation and safeguarding strategies and plans to develop our approach to all age exploitation. The intent is to develop a shared pan-Cheshire all age exploitation strategy, supported by localised plans, bringing together our collective agreed approach to support people who are working to reduce exploitation in Cheshire. Cheshire Resilience Forum has agreed short term funding to add capacity at a pan Cheshire level. The intention is to appointment the services of an external independent consultant to support us at a sub-regional level to strengthen and develop our; * existing children's and adults strategies * develop a scope of current service and resources * needs analysis - review of current demand, and any gaps in the current offer efforts, pan-Cheshire to strengthen our approach to the prevention of exploitation, across all ages, to develop pan-Cheshire protocol, procedures and systems and to build longer term capacity throughout the sub-region * review of existing plans at a local level to ensure harmonisations and shared approaches where appropriate Further information and applications can be made at www.the-chest.org.uk Additional information: Further information and applications can be made at www.the-chest.org.uk
