Summary of the contracting process

The Nottingham City Council, in collaboration with Mansfield District Council, has awarded a contract for the CPU 4236 Corporate Security Services Framework with a total value of £7,500,000. The framework agreement covers various security services such as manned guarding, event security, alarm systems, cash collection, and CCTV systems. The contract allows for call-off arrangements by several organisations, including Nottingham City Homes and other local councils, offering both direct award and further competition options. The contract period is set for 48 months starting from November 1, 2022.

This tender presents significant business opportunities for security service providers, especially small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), in the East Midlands region of the United Kingdom. Businesses specialising in security services, including manned guarding, event security, and alarm systems, would be well-suited to compete for the various lots under this framework agreement. The contract period and the diverse range of services required offer a chance for providers to establish long-term partnerships and generate steady revenue streams.
