Sunderland City Council constantly reviews how Social Care Services can be delivered In the current environment with reduced funding and increasing demand, Local Authorities have considered the outsourcing of some of their social care services to the Independent Sector as an alternative service delivery model. Sunderland Council would like to: * Understand the challenges this may present to the social care market, * Learn from any experiences that the market can share with the Council obtained by participating in other local authority social care outsourced procurements; * Understand the markets willingness and/or ability to bid/participate any tendering processes for these services. We would be grateful if you could support us with this by completing the questions within this scoping exercise. Please return your response by e mail to chris.cummings@sunderland.gov.uk
