Notice Title

(NU/1711) Supply of a High-throughput Biophysical Instrument for Kinetic Characterisation of biomolecular interactions

Notice Description

The Kawamura group has recently moved to the School of Natural and Environmental Sciences at the University of Newcastle and are establishing a new chemical biology section. A large part of the group's work focusses on developing chemical probes for a range of protein targets and as such biophysical characterization of theses probes is a key element of this work. To achieve this we need to purchase a High-throughput Biophysical Instrument for Kinetic Characterisation, to allow us to determine the kinetic parameters and affinities of the generated novel compounds in a high-throughput low sample requirement fashion. This instrument is being funded by the European Research Council grant SEP-210651063. Short title is CPTarget. Title " Cyclic peptide platform as an approach to target validation The scope of this contract is for the supply, delivery and help in installation of the equipment as detailed in the ITT to the University, with after-sales support and 12 months warranty and maintenance. Expressions of interest in this project can be made by registering via the University's etendering portal at: https://procontract.due-north.com/Advert/Index?advertId=c2f00b99-a401-ec11-810d-005056b64545 The contract reference is NU/1711.
